Welcome to Dawg City. By using our app or website, you agree to these terms. We've tried to keep them short and human.

Who we are

Dawg City is built by independent developers in Casablanca, Morocco. The mobile app, the website at dawg.city, and the AI coaching backend are all maintained by us.

What Dawg City is — and what it isn't

Dawg City gives you AI-generated training and nutrition guidance personalized to your dog. It's a coaching tool — not a substitute for a licensed veterinarian, certified behaviorist, or qualified dog trainer. If your dog has a serious medical issue, a bite history, or behavior that puts anyone at risk, please consult a professional. Our app's safety gates will flag these situations, but ultimately the judgment is yours.

Your account

You can use the app anonymously to start (we'll create a temporary account). When you sign up with an email, you become responsible for keeping your password secure. We'll never ask for your password by email.

Acceptable use

Use Dawg City for its intended purpose — caring for your dog. Don't try to break the app, scrape the AI responses for resale, or use the service in ways that violate any law where you live.

Content you create

You own everything you put in (your dog's profile, journal entries, photos). We use it to give you personalized advice. We don't sell it. We don't train AI models on it. We process it through Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses, per our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions and payments

Dawg City is free during early access. If we introduce paid tiers later, we'll make pricing and what you get crystal clear before you're charged. Subscriptions through the Google Play Store are subject to Google's terms; web subscriptions (if any) are subject to our billing partner's terms.

Cancellation and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This wipes your data immediately on your device and within minutes on our servers. See Privacy Policy for the full deletion scope.

Disclaimers and limitations

Dawg City is provided "as is" without warranties. We do our best to give helpful guidance, but AI responses can be wrong. You agree that we're not liable for outcomes resulting from following the app's advice, to the maximum extent allowed by law in your country.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. We'll bump the "Last updated" date at the top, and notify you in the app for material changes.
